Located on Louisiana Highway 1, and only 10 miles from the Texas-Arkansas state lines, is Vivian. Nestled in the piney woods and rolling hills of northwest Louisiana, the little town is the gateway to Caddo Lake, Jeems and Black Bayou where swollen cypress trunks and water moccassins abound.
